The Nutshell w/e 29th September

Dear Parents,

We are now four weeks into the new academic year, and it has been fantastic to see our school community reconnect and dive into new learning adventures. I would like to share some of the exciting themes and initiatives planned for this year.

For the first half of the year, our theme is Power of Me. In this theme, we will celebrate the uniqueness and individuality of each pupil. Throughout the term, our pupils will have the opportunity to explore their strengths, passions, hobbies, and dreams. We will engage in meaningful experiences that promote understanding, empathy, and appreciation for each other's differences, fostering a sense of belonging and connection within our school community.

As part of our Power of Me theme, we have an upcoming event that focuses on nurturing the holistic development of our pupils. Our Wellness Day celebration will take place on December 14th and is an exciting opportunity for us to come together. This will give us an opportunity as a whole school community to enjoy experiences and challenges that we are genuinely passionate about in order to bring us closer as a community, as well as to celebrate the end of term.

As we look ahead to the second half of the year, we will transition to our new theme, Expanding Horizons. This theme will take our pupils on a journey to understand their impact on the world and how they can make it a better place. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals will again guide us to tackle and engage in projects that tackle real-world challenges. Expanding Horizons will encourage our pupils to think creatively and entrepreneurially as they seek innovative solutions to the issues that matter most. Additionally, pupils will explore different career paths, allowing them to consider their aspirations and ambitions. Expanding Horizons aims to empower our students with the knowledge and skills they need to become agents of positive change in our global community.

We are enthusiastic about the enriching experiences and opportunities these themes offer our school community. Your partnership and support in your child's educational journey are deeply appreciated and invaluable.
