Opportunities Through Sharing

Schools working together in partnership can be beneficial by uniting pupils and staff through various disciplines and channels: creative and performing arts, sport, supporting wellbeing, teaching practices and shared learning.

At Hazelwood, we believe it is important to share our resources, facilities and knowledge. We work with several local state schools to do this. Such partnerships enable the sharing of best practices and expertise as we work together to support pupil learning opportunities.

Working together can help build stronger schools and better pupil outcomes.

Collaboration with Oxted School

Through shared projects and learning opportunities, we collaborate with Oxted School to enrich educational experiences. Pupils develop real-world skills, confidence and broaden their understanding of future education and career pathways.

Industry Insights Programme

We welcome guests from a wide range of industries into Hazelwood to help pupils discover strengths, develop skills and gain insights that will help shape future choices. By working with industry professionals on real-life problems, pupils step outside the classroom, think differently and develop a deeper understanding of what excites and motivates them. We invite a group of pupils from Oxted School to join us, adding a fresh perspective.

Careers Fair

Our pupils attend an annual Careers Fair, kindly hosted by Oxted School.

Workshop Sponsorship

We were delighted to sponsor a legal workshop at Oxted School, where pupils had an interactive courtroom experience to learn about law, rights and responsibilities.

Our Initiatives

Thank you for your help funding this workshop. It was amazing, not only did the two groups have fun but they had an insight into a real crime. A fantastic workshop and a great opportunity for the children. You certainly brought the world of work into the hall.
