Hazelwood Alumni - Sir Christian Turner

Just before heading off to Washington to start his role as British Ambassador to the United States, former Hazelwood pupil, Sir Christian Turner, met us for a chat about his new position and his time at Hazelwood. 

It was lovely to hear that Sir Christian has such fond memories of Hazelwood and that he believes the school was foundational in shaping who he is today.

Thanks to all who organised the 135th anniversary of Hazelwood...It was a wonderful day and so interesting to have a tour of the school, which brought back many memories. It is so good to see how Hazelwood has flourished over the years and the amazing Baily Building - long may it continue!
