Pupils fuel up with a wide choice of breakfasts that provide whole grains, fresh fruit, toast, and a hot entrée to power their morning. 



Lunch always includes the option of freshly prepared salads and soups made daily, using seasonal ingredients. The soup and salad bar offers diverse vegetarian proteins, cheeses, homemade dressings, and baked breads for crafting creative meals. 

We serve hot entrées from ethically raised meats or sustainable fish, along with sides such as jacket potatoes. All menus can be adapted to individual dietary needs and restrictions.

By developing colourful, flavourful dishes in-house, we expose pupils to lesser-known foods, unique taste combinations, and nutritious global recipes they might not seek out on their own. Meals are eaten family-style, so teachers can model mindful eating habits whilst leading discussions on balanced nutrition with pupils. 

The continuous training of staff focuses on safe food handling, nutrition science and ethical sourcing, which allows us to maintain Hazelwood’s high standards. Our catering team follows meticulous protocols to serve food that not only tastes delicious but aligns with our sustainability values.
