About Hazelwood
At the heart of Hazelwood is an impressive Victorian house with double doors out from the Head's Study onto the Head's Lawn which plays host to the much celebrated Summer Picnic Concert. The building provides an anchor for the school life which revolves around it, and an inspiration for all who come to the school. It captures the spirit of community which runs through the school, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and support between staff and pupils alike.
It is this spirit which allows each of our pupils to both achieve his or her true potential and to adopt positions of leadership and responsibility as they progress through the school. State of the art sports halls, creative arts theatre and music rooms blend the old perfectly with the new ensuring the school, like our pupils, is confidently looking to the future.
