There are various clubs and other activities during lunch time and after school including a wide range of musical, dramatic, enrichment, creative and sporting activities. These vary each term and parents are informed about what is on offer before the start of each term. Whilst some clubs are run by our own teaching staff, we do have experts brought in where appropriate which may incur an extra charge.
Our current extra-curricular activities include Art, Athletics, Ballet, Board Games, Chapel Choir, Cheerleading, Chess, Clarinet Group, Cricket, Gardening, Golf, Gymnastics, Hand bell ringing, Handicrafts, Judo, Junior Choir, Minecraft, Multisports, Music with theory, Music Technology, Orchestra, Orienteering, Photography, Scuba Diving, Short Tennis, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tap and Modern Dance, Tennis, Textiles and Touch Typing.
THE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY CLUB
The Outdoor Activity Club is something quite special and unique. The Club is open to children from Year 5 and above and offers pupils the chance, at weekends and in the holidays, to share some amazing, and quite different experiences. As well as long bicycle rides and walks in the country, camping in tents and ancient bothies, the OAC also try their hand at pheasant plucking, deep sea mackerel fishing and apple juice making. They have been on survival weekends, watched badgers at night and crewed a narrow-boat along the canals of England.
