
Sports hall
The Hazelwood School sports Hall is a multi-purpose indoor sports centre measuring 34 metres long, by 18 metres wide and 7.5 metres high.
Since opening its doors to outside users in August 2004, the Hazelwood School Sports Hall has been buzzing with people from the local community playing indoor Football, Hockey and Badminton (4 courts). Apart from being used every weekend as Surrey Cricket’s District/Development centre, the hall’s excellent cricket facilities (4 nets) which include bowling machines and video analysis of both batting and bowling, are also being used by many of the local cricket clubs.
The Sports Hall has been designed to accommodate all sports such as Football, Hockey, Netball, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Fencing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Trampoline, Gymnastics, Movement/Dance. The sports hall is equipped with modern lighting suitable for all sports in a purpose built new environment. There is also an elevated viewing gallery, which makes it possible to host tournaments and put on displays. The hall provides changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities for both children and adults.
